This item looks good and works great for the most part, but the gray feet in the pictures look rubbery. I wanted this so that the surfaces would not be damaged and the lid would not move when opening and closing. Instead, the gray color is plastic and does not prevent the item from slipping and scratching. I had to buy something to put under the gray plastic. To further frustrate me I wanted to forgo a review but they emailed me asking me to leave a review and reach out to them with any questions. -mail, they ignored it and sent me another email asking me to leave a good review. Then when I replied again, they responded with something that clearly showed my emails were still unread. But since this is mostly about the seller, rather than the product itself, I still give 4 stars. Star removed because the legs are plastic, not rubber. If the surface you want to use is important to you, buy furniture upholstery. Rubber or felt with a sticky side. Once you do that, I LOVE it. Very nice to look at and durable. Keeps things in place, and the bottom makes it easy to open or close the lid.
