It's not silicone, but the edges are smooth so it's comfortable.
What I didn't like was that the description said it was soft, comfortable silicone. The fact is that it is not silicone and it is not soft. However, after testing it, it came in handy. It has nicely rounded edges and the only complaint I have is the description of the soft silicone and I'm deducting a star for that. All the ones I got were very thin, sharp and cut into the bridge of the nose and chin!
