Does what it says in Car & Vehicle Electronics

Minimal performance but it worked better than I expected. It distorts the small Onkyo speakers I have when I turn them on. I have a bigger set, I plan to try it. The performance is quite decent for such a small device. FM Radio is a good addon for what I was looking for. Bought to fit in my camper so needed 12v for my use. The modified inverter output in the camper was terrible for the sound. Have a spare lawn mower battery that worked fine. I've found that when the remote is used to turn it off, it puts it into a sort of sleep mode, but doesn't turn it off. I picked it up and it was quite warm. I turned it off with the volume knob and it went off completely. Incomplete shutdowns are having a detrimental effect on my battery usage. Really crappy instructions. FM antenna is weak and channels are stored in numerical order found. and so the remote control changes the channels. The scan contains more than 25 channels, so I need to know which station and number to use remotely, or I have to switch from station to station. The remote volume control is based on the volume set with the knob on the device. It increases to 28 with the remote, but this highest setting can be changed by setting the units. I've only had it for a few days, but so far it's working very well for my application. I tried using a 3 amp wall power supply and it didn't turn on.
