This thing started falling apart after my fourth use. I am very careful with my things and was very surprised. One of the two retaining clips came loose, as did the two hooks holding the top and bottom halves together. See attached photos. I could still use the product with a little more effort, but that's not the point. This should last for years with normal use, but turned out to be very cheap and brittle plastic that would break quickly. Avoid if durability is important to you. If not, be ready to keep buying a replacement. In fact, it may be worth paying a premium for a particular competitor's product that comes in blue. Edit: December 27th, 2020 - This thing is now close to dying. Both retaining clips are now broken and I use tape to hold them together in use. It also doesn't completely erase the circuit. I throw it away and use the master link so I can remove the chain and clean it properly before reinstalling and lubricating. So much for the "lifetime warranty" Pedro.
