My child tiptoes and blows through his shoes faster than usual, so I change them all the time. I bought the cheap ones from Walmart but they fall apart VERY quickly. I've tried really expensive ones and they last a little longer, but not long enough to justify the cost. It's a great average price and the quality seems great! Also, a lot of brands are switching to size 13 laces, but they're still Velcro, which is great. My kid has other issues and isn't quite ready to tie his own laces, so I appreciate that. As for the size, I measured his foot and googled the measurements. It said he would be a size 13 (his largest foot was 7.25 inches) so I ordered this one. They fit perfectly so I would say true to size. I will order them again if he inevitably ruins them. with his walking on his toes.
