Living right on the coast means your car gets a lot of salt spray every day. Although I have access to a hose to wash my car daily, sometimes the salt is so noticeable that a quick jet of water doesn't do much to clean it out. This car wash mop is perfect for me! I only use part of the aluminum stick as I keep the mop in the trunk of my car so I have it on hand whenever I need it. I just need the handle length long enough to reach the top of my car. I also keep a small bottle of car wash in the trunk. It only takes me a few minutes to wet my car, put a few drops of car soap on the mop and quickly wash and rinse the car. This mop makes keeping my car clean so easy! A soft cleaning glove gently cleans the paint on my car. I carry a spare mop mitt in a zip pocket in the trunk. After washing the car, I remove the used wiper mitt and replace it with an unused one from the zipper. The mop mitt washes and dries beautifully and fits back in my trunk ready for my next quick car wash. This is just something you need to know about checking before storing your mop after use. I like that the mop mitt is gentle on my car's bodywork and the bungee cord makes it very easy to put on and take off. Having two mop mitts is a huge plus, so I'm always willing to bring a clean mop mitt if needed. All in all it was a really good buy!
