Review on 🚗 APDTY 012183 Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch: Enhance Control and Performance by John Caldwell

Quick 5 minute switch on my 2006 Tahoe. I was sick thinking my 4WD drive was going to fail again when I got the message "Service 4WD" and couldn't put my Tahoe in any other mode (4 high, 4 low, 4WD, neutral). When I turned the car off and on again it worked great again as did all 4WD modes. That's when I found out that this switch could be defective. I was so glad it was a cheap, easy fix. 4WD is now working great and I haven't seen the 'Service 4WD' code. If it comes back I will update this review. Just FYI I recently had a job and a complete overhaul on my transfer case and had a rebuilt 4WD drivetrain installed. I took it back to my transmission engineer first to make sure there was nothing serious in that area. Warranty repair before moving to this switch.
