When I'm bored, I sometimes bake something. This rug is priceless. It's big enough that I can work on a granite countertop without having flour all over it. Sticky dough will stick to it, but the thin layer of flour acts as a release agent. It's too big for my baking trays, but I have other mats for that. It does what it was designed to do, which is to keep the counter relatively clean. It has enough friction to keep it in place while I work and rolls off easily when I'm done. A word of caution though. It's soft and will cut if you cut it with a knife. So not. Highly recommended!
