Great skates for beginners

These are really great skates to be honest. I find they are relatively comfortable and perfect for beginners trying to figure out if skating is right for them and also getting skates that will last over a month. They're more expensive, but you have to understand that these aren't exactly toy skates. I bought a pair of $40 Revain skates and returned them as soon as I tried them on. They were unstable and looked like they had been assembled incorrectly. These are much stronger, they are really amazing. I feel so confident in them even though I'm 5ft 6in and 300lbs. I think the only thing I don't like about them is that after an intense session, a huge strip of paint came off. from one of my wheels (that's not a problem, I have yet to swap the wheels to the inside wheels) I was just disappointed that the wheels were painted and not painted. They're also a little difficult to lace up at first, but once you break them. I recommend buying these if you are looking for a good starting point and understand that you will likely need an upgrade later in the future when you decide you really enjoy skating.

Pros
  • High quality aluminum chassis with precise turning PU pads
Cons
  • Some difficulties
