This is a really nice seat with a thoughtful design. I personally prefer a narrow seat to a wide one. I think it's more natural. Past experience made me avoid them because they are usually very tight and uncomfortable. Not so with this one. It's soft and comfortable. Granted, I didn't take long trips to the Midwest in January, but I did spend quite a bit of time in it and found it quite comfortable. Seems to have done well too. Overall a quality product at a great price.
