Baseball/softball shoes appear to be declining in quality. All made out of artificial materials, with an outer shell that looks like a pair of old rubber boots. I'm 70 years old and had my first pair of baseball shoes when I was 13. They were leather and lasted two years. Broke like a glove. These things are hot, don't stretch to accommodate your feet, and aren't particularly stable for a person of any weight. The last good softball shoe I owned was adidas and I'll probably check that out again.
