My AT&T router needed to be restarted at least once a month, so I decided to try a business-class Wi-Fi hotspot to compare. The Aruba AP12 seemed like a good choice as all the reviews I read or looked at were very good. And of course it has been very reliable so far. It's been about three weeks and I haven't had any problems. It feels very well built as it weighed more than I expected. I use it with a tp-links poe injector and was able to place it in a central spot in my apartment and get really good wifi everywhere. The bracket is only about half an inch thick so it doesn't stick out as much from the roof, which is nice. Setup was very easy, I just went to the Aruba Instant On website (I didn't use the app) and entered the serial number and off we went. No rocket science required. But as another reviewer said, turn off the app details under Visibility and Control. To get there, go to the Aruba Instant home page. Click Apps on the main page, then look for the gear icon on the right and you'll find it there. This noticeably accelerates the WLAN network. I will update this review if anything changes.
