We have switched to this brand from a brand we have used for years, mainly for budget reasons. Everything seems the same, but there are a few problems. The one we used included a tool to remove/tighten the two large filter holders, which this one didn't have. It's okay, we did last year. But this kit also came with new O-rings, which this one doesn't have, and we've had issues with leaks - it took a couple of tries to get it right and we still have a pan underneath just in case. Also, now we have a weird chemical taste in the water that I hate. It's been a few days and it's better than the first time, but it's never been a problem. I thought not to wait a year but to go back to another manufacturer. Not sure about the seller, maybe Vertex? This one cost $39.95, but I understand you definitely get what you pay for.
