Review on Cloud 9 Cruiser Select Saddle 10 75 by Esvin Hopuhnopuhlis

I bought a Schwinn bike that was easy to assemble, beautiful and cheap, but had the hardest and ridiculously uncomfortable bike seat in the history of the universe. I really couldn't say enough negative things about the fabric-covered narrow, sharp-edged concrete brick masquerading as the seat my bike came with. I reached the end of the driveway and immediately put the bike in the garage until I found a new seat. I tried the gel pad but was sitting on a brick that was just covered in gel. I tried a bike seat from Walmart, then spent more money and bought a fancy one at a bike shop, but it still wasn't comfortable enough for me to even ride outside of my neighborhood. I bought this seat and it was shipped the next day with Prime. My sister and husband tried each seat to make sure I wanted to imagine how awful/heavy they felt. It is well packaged, easy to attach to the stem, you can adjust the angle when installing. I've found that tilting the seat down a little makes it easier to sit in it for a long time. I've ridden about 15 miles each way for several days in a row since getting this seat, and each time I feel a little more comfortable. I even have a kangaroo bike attachment for my daughter to take with me because I can spend a lot more time behind the wheel. This seat is very soft, handles big bumps well, the cutout relieves pressure on long rides and feels solid. It's really heavy, but I don't feel the extra weight at all when cycling. I keep my bike indoors so I don't mind if it's not waterproof. Waterproof bike seats get hot/sweaty/sticky on long rides because they don't have ventilation. In California, it only rains a few days a year anyway.
