One day, about six months ago, I heard my wife scream. The noise came from the kitchen. She yelled "Help!" and I ran. I found her frantically trying to screw the valve knob back into place on our old Moen kitchen faucet when water started pouring out of the faucet. The set screw loosened and the handle suddenly flew off. Unfortunately the head of the set screw had been damaged in the past and we were unable to fully tighten it. Trips to big stores and local hardware stores drew blank stares and shrugs. Months went by and we lived with a shaking faucet. We were saving for a brand new faucet, but one day while cleaning up the files we found the former homeowner's original documents. This allowed us to get the serial number and track down this nifty little set of basic parts. The instructions were excellent and we found that the tap wasn't quite right to begin with. About ten minutes of fiddling resulted in the faucet valve being almost brand new and now working better than ever. This is a fantastic kit and thanks to Moen for the consistency in many of his parts. This kit is suitable for many crane series. Happy as can be and I received a smile and a kiss from a very grateful woman.
