Review update. 4 out of 5 bulbs are blown. These are the worst lamps I've ever bought from Revain. They weren't even as bright as the 60-watt equivalent they're talking about. How they can claim that you get 25,000 hours from them I have no idea. They've been in use for 1.5 years now, and even if 10 hours a day a year (which I doubt) that's only 1/5 of the expected lifespan. I don't understand why others give these lamps such good marks. Failure of 4 out of 6 lamps accounts for 66.67% of failures. Terrible! 22 years as stated in the description is NOT correct. 2 out of 5 lightbulbs used stopped working after less than a year. When the first one failed last month I thought maybe it was just a bad lightbulb. But this week the second one came out. I think all 1 star ratings were correct.
