I specially purchased this item for Samsung EVO SSD offline cloning. For offline cloning, the following is recommended: 1. Insert the source drive into hard drive bay A, and then insert the target drive into hard drive bay B.2. Make sure the USB cable is disconnected from the computer.3. Connect the power adapter and turn on the device.4. Hold the CLONE button and release it when you see the blue LED.5. Then quickly press the CLONE.6 button. The blue LED will flash at 25% to indicate the cloning process has started.7. The cloning process is complete when ALL indicators turn blue (25%-100%).8. Finally, press the power switch to the "OFF" position and remove the discs. However, after step 5, the device will immediately proceed to step 7 and show that all indicators are solid blue, which means the process is 100% complete. Step 6 never happens. I've tried this over and over again, shutting down the device and reinstalling drives. Same result every time. waste of time and money. Will return.
