The collection of badges/brooches is slowly being replenished. I'm really liking them at the moment and love the idea of wearing a pair with fall/winter outfits. Sort of a sophisticated version of geek chic. This needle is great for that. Yes the quality could be better BUT I won't be wearing it all the time so it doesn't bother me. It could be cheaper in price, but if it goes with a certain outfit, then it's not a bad buy. In general the design is good, the clasps fit well. The black stones are good and fairly clear. The gold tone is nice and light, but not too coppery. Great glossy finish. The detailing is good, not great, but adequate. I know it's a men's lapel brooch, but it fits me fine.
