Unreliable Best Overall External SSD
It's nice that this is a portable SSD at this price point, but it's exceptionally unreliable. One has already been replaced after not being installed and the replacement unit, while working, appears to be of poorer quality as the magnetic locking system barely holds up. It also causes Finder and Windows Explorer to become very unstable and crash after using them for some time and after removing them, system performance returns to normal.
