It makes a cup of coffee but not iced coffee. I wanted to see how he would make the coffee cold because you need hot coffee to brew. It's not like this. Any coffee maker can make iced coffee. Iced coffee mode produces approximately 2 cups of hot coffee. The instructions say to put ice in it to cool it down. Oh well. That's a problem. This thins the ice and dilutes the coffee. That's exactly what I didn't want, otherwise I would have used the Keurig I have. So I return. I don't need other functions. All just advertising.
