Runs small
Why do all these novelties run so small? I bought size XL (size 12) for my 8 year old who still fits in size 8 shirts but I usually buy size 10 for him so they last longer. This one COULD be as big as his size 10 tees, meaning next year it probably won't fit. Although he likes it, and at least it is not very expensive. Hopefully by next St. Patrick's Day I can find one that's true to size!
