So far, so good.

I have been using a bread maker for almost 20 years, dear Zojirushi. The problem was the paddles tend to wear out and now they charge $30 for a pair. So I tried this KITCHEN ARM on sale. Many improvements in the way it has been programmed over the years and so far very happy with the results. The way the dough is kneaded seems to build up gluten very well. EDIT 109/2021: More than satisfied with the results so far. If you follow the measurements and use fresh yeast and flour, you'll be happy with this bread maker. I have no idea why someone would spend 100€ more. Excellent documentation and recipe book. The spare paddle included in the kit is a good reference so you don't have to run around and buy a replacement when it wears out over time. It's impossible to tell how long it can last, but it looks like it's well made. I just baked whole wheat bread and it turned out great. Hot tip for my fellow bakers. Like I said, 20 years, so I know what I'm talking about. Use BREAD FLOUR. Even if it's more expensive, it doesn't cost much more for a loaf, a few cents. A much better texture is achieved, BUY BULK YAST!. You get taken to the dry cleaner who buys those stupid bags. Do not do that. They sell 1 and 2 pound packs which are a lot cheaper per loaf. Keep the opened pack IN THE FREEZER! in an airtight container. So the yeast will serve perfectly for at least a year. Save good money and don't have to keep refilling yeast.

Pros
  • UNIQUE BREAD COOKING IN 1 CLICK – All your settings are saved for next use including menu/loaf size/crust color for the preset menu and your own settings for the HOMEMADE menu. - It becomes a 1-CLICK operation the next time you use the same recipe: just add the ingredients and press the START button ONCE. - 29 menus, 3 bread sizes (1/1.5/2lb), 3 crust colors (dark/medium/light), 15 hour time delay, 1 hour keep warm, 15 minute power failure recovery, ADD NUTS alarm etc.
Cons
  • Hard to say
