I was using a 6ft folding table for my desk but decided to order a real desk to feel more professional about my work from home. Obviously the compromise was space as the table isn't as big as a folding table. Other than that, I like the table and it looks good. It's easy to assemble and strong enough to attach my podcast mic and monitor to it. It only took about 15 minutes to assemble out of the box, and they've labeled most of the parts with little stickers so you know what goes where. I didn't add a monitor stand because I figured I wouldn't need one, but in hindsight I should have because it gives you a bit more room to put things on it. I would definitely recommend this table if you are short on space (which I am not) or if you want a rustic style table. I would definitely recommend this desk for college students and anyone with podcast or monitor mounts. It's also a good writing height and I don't feel any strain after sitting at my desk and typing for a while. In addition, the support bar at the bottom is a good footrest.
