This is better than drilling holes in drywall
I use these sticky hooks in the closet. It's a painted surface and they warned against using it on painted surfaces, but I still prefer drilling holes in those walls. I use three of these to hang straps with regular buckles and this works better than any other way I've stored my straps. They are not visible and the straps do not touch the ground. These hooks hold up well and hold enough weight for my purpose and of course can carry a lot more weight if needed.
