Worked with both phone and laptop

Worked like a charm with my phone and laptop. I downloaded the Torque Lite app as recommended and wasn't very impressed. However, Forscan Lite ($4.60 on the Google Play Store) is great for diagnostics. However, that wasn't enough for me, so I tried connecting this guy to Forscan on my laptop and it was fast and impressive. My problem was solved in 10 minutes! I tried the USB version of this OBD (model VINT-TT55502 ELM327 USB modified for FOSCAN ELMconfig FOCCCUS HS-CAN/MS-CAN) and had to return it as the cable turned out to be faulty and timed out when I ran the scan. My Ford Escape 2010 However, this is much better and doesn't require you to download drivers. I would add that when scanning the car after a while it stopped and the computer said "low battery". When I started the car the problem seemed to be resolved and the scan went fine. Highly recommended!
