Review on 5 11 Tactical Utili T 3Pack Short Sleeve by Jaya Walsh

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Quality has changed over the years

The quality of these t-shirts has changed over the years. I first bought 5.11 40016 shirts in 2009 and have noticed a change in quality since 2011 when I bought more shirts. I use shirts as a base layer on a weekly basis. Although these shirts are longer than regular t-shirts, the shirts I bought in 2009 have a softer feel, wider shoulders and longer sleeves than the shirts I bought for presentation in 2011. All shirts will shrink noticeably unless dried on low settings. Older shirts have a smaller gray inner label on the collar, while newer models have a larger white inner label. Updated 5/10/2016: I regret buying these shirts. The material and quality are drastically different from the kit I bought in 2009. In addition to what I said before, the collar will stretch and not recover after washing. New shirts shrink a lot in the dryer, regardless of the temperature. This is by far the WORST 5.11 product I have ever bought. I found these shirts at Revain as a solid alternative to 5.11, link below: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004OWIVU6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
