Review on Get swift with Logitech's M185 Wireless Mouse in Grey! by Agata Andrukiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

I have been using the M185 model for a total of 8 years. In 2022, I bought the same mouse as a gift, but of a new generation - with an abbreviated Logi logo instead of Logitech. Six months later, this mouse began to fail the wheel - the pages jump up and down when scrolling. Exchanged under warranty for the same. The new mouse worked for half a year and the problem with the wheel started again. I handed it back, took the money and bought a mouse from another manufacturer. But still, I wonder why the mouse of the previous generation still works properly, but the new generation does not. I suppose that in the new generation the design was reduced in price and a mechanical one was installed instead of an optical wheel position sensor. If we compare the markings of old and new mice, it can be seen that the designation of a certain optical sensor has disappeared in the new mouse (highlighted in the photo). Maybe it was the wheel position sensor. Correct me if I'm wrong

With its pros. economical. from the moment of purchase on the battery from the kit has worked for more than a year Has some cons a bit small, but that's a nitpick. I already get used to it)

Different pros: Very reliable. There are several pieces at home and at work - all alive. Runs on 1AA alkaline battery for a year. Some cons: A little smaller than I would like.

Decent mouse for the money.
