I love the look, fit and comfort of these shorts and use them for camping, hiking and walking. Later I bought long trousers. But my shorts have a broken zipper that slowly unzips EVERY time. I put up with this for too long and Eddie Bauer refused to replace them and after two emails sent me a $20 coupon. I have Eddie Bauer hunting and camping shorts from the 60's in my closet and am very disappointed that I had to throw away a pair of $50 shorts after 14 months of use. Patagonia will repair or replace, regardless of usage.
