After having surgery found that i had little too much belly area that was hard to tame. I used an elastic/velcro band for a few years but not without it's issues of velcro coming apart. Now using these and find they do a much better job at flattening the abdomen and are light and are great at wicking moisture. I bought two pair. i went by the chart on the first purchase and on the second purchase selected the next size up and the fit is much more comfortable. So far, i like these shapers. Best solution for me so far.
