Average quality, not an outstanding product.
And, finally, one non-critical, but tangible flaw. The kit includes a nozzle with a net. The mesh is too large - it retains leaves, grass and . that's it. Insects, small particles, petals - everything continues to float on the surface. It seems to me that mesh enlargement is not a defect, but a completely justified technical solution, the purpose of which is to increase sales of skimmers :D
- First of all, I liked the fact that this is a kit - you don’t need to invent anything, everything has already been invented before you. However, then comes the realization: "If you want to do well - do it yourself."
- Removed one star for each global "cant". There are two of these: 1. The fastening of the sleeve (see image), on which the corrugated hose is put on, is made in such a way as to ensure unhindered rotation. The result - an absolute leakage of the connection, a consequence - up to 50% of the power of the filter pump is lost. This is especially noticeable on low-performance pumps (up to 4000 l/h). The vacuum unit performed poorly. Subsequently, it was decided to completely fill the place where the bushing was attached with hot-melt adhesive. And yes - the efficiency has increased! 2. The fastening of the cover of the vacuum cleaner unit is extremely clumsy. If you fix the cover with the brush "according to the instructions", any incorrect movement of the brush in the water will lead to its detachment. And if you can still fish out a lid from a twenty-five-cubic pool, then finding a blue ring with a filter on a blue bottom is a task for a diver :D The lid can be fixed with brute force. However, such manipulations are unlikely to increase the service life.
