Review on πŸ’§ Convenient 8 Oz. or 250ml Empty Liquid Pump Dispenser Bottles with Lockable Head Pump (Set of 2) by Michelle Anderson

Amazingly durable bottles at a great price.

The bottle itself is actually quite rigid although flexible. It only takes a little effort to compress. It's not what you might think of as a squeeze bottle. The cap seems strong enough. The flip-top lid snaps into place and isn't too rigid or easy to use. Just for that specific purpose that can quickly access readily available alcohol. The hinge is plastic so it is very doubtful that the hinge will last forever. But FWIW, I think it's ok. While I don't like these types of flip top caps (similar to shampoo bottles) as they wear out over time, a bottle without a bottle still works fine for dispensing a small amount of alcohol. Speaking of which, the concave knob is firmer than I'm used to, but works well. A few squeezes release about 1 milliliter of liquid, which isn't much but enough to moisten a cotton swab or a folded KimWipe to clean an injection wound or a solder joint, for example. Pumping is easy if you completely cover the hole with a swath. I am very happy with these bottles so far. They weren't super thin cheap plastic like I expected. They are surprisingly durable and I plan to buy more for other uses. One downside is that the bottle itself is pretty light so you have to keep it full to give it some substance to keep it in place during use. This is the advantage of a glass and stainless steel dispenser and a larger pump volume. But they are about 3 times more expensive for just one bottle. If I had my way I would have preferred a more free flowing soft button pump (similar to large metal dispensers) but for the price you really can't ask for more. I would also have liked the embossing to be more legible, but that's easily corrected with a label or marker.

Pros
  • 2 Empty Liquid Dispenser Bottles
Cons
  • Doubtful
