Review on Grainrain Buddha Flexible Silicone Handmade by Denise Davis

Detail - Reasonable Size Mold

beautiful shape. I made a pretty decent lavender buddha. For easy and painless removal: I cut it with a Gillette blade (I usually do this from the back or the side depending on the shape of the finished product) to the center of the head. Apply candle wick, then simply tie together and secure with rubber bands. I use 2 wooden sticks (held tightly together with a rubber band at the bottom), put the other side of your wick in between and pull to get a nice straight wick. Pour out the wax once it has set/cured, move the chopsticks around, remove the rubber bands from the mold and gently open to take out the Buddha.

Pros
  • The mold is made of food grade silicone, no chemical smell. The mold wall is thick. Rated temperature: -40 to +230 degrees Celsius. Reusable, non-stick, durable, impermeable, easy to clean; It keeps its shape for years. Keep it away from fire, gas stove and knife.
Cons
  • boring packaging
