I should have looked more closely at the pictures. The cm hand is on the right side. I use cm, not inches. So for me it's a fail as you can't measure the right edge of the paper. The cutting dimensions will always be slightly different as the markings are much higher than the plane of the paper. The blade cuts well, I only checked individual leaves. I would think this wouldn't work with volumetric slicing as the ruler is pressed against the magnet which is nice but annoying. I compared it to my Cricut paper cutter. I prefer Cricut for cutting, but it doesn't cut straight at right angles, it always cuts a little at an angle. It comes with 1 extra blade, which is stored on the left side, too easy to remove. There was a dent on the end of the knife which I ground down to make it work. The knife fits well in the board. It's great for cutting. Nice that it folds up. There's a flap at the top that you can place in the path of the blade and lean against the scoring paper, which is great. I will keep using it, love it.
