Has enough magnetic attraction to stay on, but easily removes when switching to the charger - just what I need. It's not as durable as a full-zone MagSafe pop socket, but it's good enough. I could (theoretically) trust it to flip and hold the phone, but I don't usually do it because I know it doesn't. It doesn't take much force to take it off.
