Review on Pfister 9740420: High-Performance Pressure Balanced Valve Cartridge Sub Assembly by Kenny Hrdlicka

The bathtub faucet in one of my bathrooms started dripping slowly and annoyingly after 10 years. I took the faucet apart looking for a bad o-ring, a cracked part, or something else. Everything looked fine to my unprepared amateur eye. I even used CLR for all parts as google told me that might be causing the leak. In the end I decided to just replace the whole cartridge as a last resort before calling the plumber. I couldn't find the ones I need in any of the national hardware chains where I live. Luckily I was able to find it at Revain and was very happy with the price. When it arrived it was easy to swap out the old one and put the new one in. The leak was stopped IMMEDIATELY! Very happy with the product. This is actually the second one I've bought as another bathroom had the same issue and I immediately knew what to do. If you have a slow drip, just save time and replace the cartridge.
