When the warranty on my old M705 ran out in 2022, I turned it in. (LMB stopped working after one year) and I used the m705 revision 2022. The redefining of the buttons brought up an issue very immediately: if the mouse is left untouched for more than five minutes, the initial click on any button will trigger the action that is set as the default. The second issue is that the button redefinition won't work after the laptop has been restarted multiple times because one of the software components, LogiOptionsMgr. Exe, frequently freezes up and needs to be relaunched before it will again. Almost immediately, I phoned Logitech's customer care. They repeatedly told me that they had contacted the software developer, and when a new version of the driver was released, they lied to me and told me that the issue had been resolved, while in reality there was no resolution. You should not purchase Logitech. They did not place any importance on quality.
