Review on ๐Ÿชš Premium COSPOF 5 Inch Hook and Loop Sanding Discs - 120 Pcs Assorted Grits (P60-P320) for Effective Orbital Sander Work by Shigg Bigbee

Excellent grinding experience with random orbit.

Excellent sandpaper with velcro backing. Unlike velcro sandpaper on paper, which tends to peel at the edges, these sandpapers with foil stick together better. Thinner than the paper-based variant, less sandable. If you use a random orbital sander, due to the softness and thicker backing paper, these tend to cause bubbles and indentations in the finished surface. They ensure a smoother surface. In terms of durability, in my initial experience, they're at least as durable, if not better, and generally don't clog like the paper-backed varieties. So far this seems to be my grinding option. I just used this excellent sandpaper to smooth the surface of the cutting block. I first used another sander (with a paper backing) ranging from 60 grit to 240 grit. The peaks and valleys stayed on the surface at each junction of the maple blocks. I then used this 220 grit sandpaper and in less than a minute the highs were completely flat. Far, far better than the paper version. They also appear to be precision cut to conform to a random orbit, so there isn't a 90 degree cut to an adjacent surface like I've experienced with my other large triangular grinder. Far better than what I've been using for decades. I bought another sander just to use this paper and it was a great decision. It's important to line up the holes to line up with the base of the grinder, as having a dust extractor or even a cloth dust bag will keep dust to a minimum. I would give 6 or 7 stars if that was an option. Very durable, like sandpaper. Like using wet or dry sandpaper. It's really not easy. Try it out and see for yourself.
