I really like the light but the wiring is not up to standard. It states it's 420 watts for a 12 volt system, meaning it draws 35 amps, 40 for some headroom. It comes with 16 AWG wires only. If it's really 420W (which I don't expect at this price point), it'll need 10 or 12 AWG wiring. I've been using Niilight products for 4 years now and all lights still work with minimal fogging. Unfortunately, I'm concerned about the wiring of this particular lightbar. Processing and water resistance as well as light output are on the right level. It doesn't throw an incredibly wide light, but it's not an $800 lightbar, and I don't expect it to be. It emits enough light to drive safely on Montana's back roads in the middle of the night (not allowed on freeways). Seems like a good light but needs to have better wiring before I install it in my car.
