I've been looking for an Alexa-enabled waterproof speaker and found few options. This one had to do some digging before I found it. The sound quality is excellent for the money. I only used it in the shower and it got wet with no problem. The app is a little unreliable, but I find that to be true of most apps that aren't popular. Make sure it's running in the background. Somehow it worked itself out for me. Also, let it fully connect before launching the app. You may then be notified that you need to pair even after you see it's paired in Bluetooth settings. There doesn't appear to be a Next button, but tapping the screen sometimes shows a pairing animation. The sound it makes when you press the mic for Alexa commands will make your teeth chatter. Once you hear it, you'll never want to hear it again. But that's a small price to pay. Given the price, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
