Recently bought a new UE Megaboom. I thought I would save a few bucks on a certified repair and that was a mistake. It sounded great for a while, but now it seems like the speaker is slowly breaking down. I get a lot of scratching from the speaker and it's even worse on songs with a lot of bass. I don't turn the volume up to full volume, but it just seems like the speaker falls apart the more I play it. Unfortunately, my return window closed before I noticed any degradation in audio quality. It hasn't even been two months and it's a disappointment. I had to spend extra money for a new one! I did not contact the seller as the return period has expired and maybe I should have tried. The UE Megaboom which I bought new is fantastic! It has great sound, easy to connect multiple devices, good battery life. I highly recommend the NEW Megaboom. Rent for Ref.
