Review on 🤖 WYZE LIDAR Mapping Technology Robot Vacuum, 2100Pa Suction, No-go Zone, Wi-Fi Connected, Self-Charging - Perfect for Pet Hair, Hard Floors, and Carpets by Andrea Sledge

Our old Roomba with no cards picked up a lot more than a Wyze vacuum (working). The vacuum cleaner successfully completes the cleaning about 50% of the time. Most of the time it exits the virtual walls and gets stuck somewhere and/or thinks it's outside of the physical walls on the map and just gives up and shuts down. I was just trying to get him to clear one of the small rooms marked on the map. He then partially circled the perimeter and headed back to base. This is a huge waste of time when the card has to be thrown away all the time. We need to put up a physical blockade where we don't want it before we put up the virtual walls again. I would not recommend this vacuum cleaner until the software is fixed. EDIT - 05/03/2021. After a few software updates, the vacuum seems to work better as it doesn't penetrate virtual barriers and doesn't think it's outside of the map itself. Still has occasional quirks like stopping mid-clean and forgetting what it was doing, eventually shutting down and losing its position after I stopped it to empty the trash.
