Great adaptable skates

I remember having my own skates as a kid and trying to keep my kid away from the TV and electronics as much as possible (although the weather doesn't really help) I have bought him lots of things to do outside. We all know that children's feet grow from a size 8 to a 13 so fast that you can't even blink when they need a new pair of shoes; So this feature of pushing them out to accommodate their growing legs is great. I hope he can use them for a long time. The pens themselves are quite heavy as I recall from my past. The wheels don't feel soft, but they aren't the same material my old skates were made of. Outside; My guess is that it may be the material used that allows the light to shine through. It looks really huge - I mean I remember winter boots. The rear has a plastic wrap that holds the rear in place while the rest of the shoe can be moved forward to adjust for proper sizing. It has two straps - one prevents the front of the shoe from accidentally slipping forward in my opinion (although there is a button you have to press to make that happen, but the safety feature is welcome!). The laces don't go all the way down the center, they go all the way down, and there's another strap at the top that adjusts the tension of the upper. The inner lining has sufficient cushioning and my child did not complain about any discomfort. glowing wheels - it's generally cool! I look forward to going outside if it's not over 100 degrees so we can see the lights at night. I really like her. I've attached a picture showing how big they look when you expand them - I was worried they might be too big and the gap would be in the wrong place, but it's not.
