Wrong part (too big) sent in box with correct part number. The article is obviously not new. I originally ordered the same part directly from K&N but accidentally only ordered 1. After learning it was shipped by Revain I bought the 2nd filter needed here to take advantage of the 2 day shipping as K&N charges a small fee for faster shipping. Standard Shipping (5 days by ground was free but I was impatient and opted for 2 days by air). Both packages arrived on the same day. The K&N bag had labels and documentation and the filter was in a sealed plastic bag. There was nothing in the Revain box except the filter in the torn box. The box and filter were much larger than what K&N sent. The package that was torn open contained some leftovers. Interestingly, the Revain box actually had a sticker with the correct part number. I suggest buying directly from K&N or your local auto parts store to ensure a genuine and complete product. AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts sell this item in my area for the same price as Revain with free next day shipping (no membership required). I drove to my local AAP and got one, again for the same price as listed on the Revain/K&N website. The AAP filter was identical to the one I received from K&N. Very disappointed in Revain about this. As for the filter, it's great. Installed it and drove the car on the freeway for about an hour. Good fit, slightly narrower than the existing filters. I did notice a slight difference in engine bay tone with the new filters, but it was pleasant. The machine ran at normal operating temperature. I wasn't looking for performance upgrades, I just liked the idea of a washable filter for life, but did notice sharper acceleration in the lows and mids. Very happy with the filters, well worth the extra upfront cost. I hope this will be the last pair of engine air filters I buy for this car!
