Review on 🌬️ Enhanced SF-540 Deluxe Fabric Steamer by Steamfast by Dan Brickley

I bought this steamer in 2014. It worked well initially, I didn't use it much but was happy with it for up to a year trying to steam 2 daughters wedding veils with it. Eventually she stopped working altogether. I tried vinegar (only distilled water was used) and it started sporadically again, vaping for 30 seconds and then nothing. I ended up taking it apart (as another customer did with a different model) and was shocked to see that where there shouldn't be water there was water and corrosion and all the electrical connections were corroded as was the outside. heating unit. Outside at the bottom of the unit (the small air intake with square holes is completely covered with a crust of water. Scary. The light is still on but nothing else happens. Apparently water is flowing from small hoses that carry water to the heating unit, or the gasket is leaking I'm not sure I'd even want to try this brand again.
