I was looking for unbreakable flat bottomed snack bowls that would be hard for my 6 year old son to tip over and they are perfect for that. The largest can hold a kid-sized slice of pizza, the smallest goldfish crackers. We really liked them and bought two more sets so my wife and I could eat them for veggies and gravy as well. Lids are a nice bonus for storing groceries in the fridge or keeping flies out on a picnic table. that the vents are a bit small and we blew in microwave lids so we don't use them for that. They are dishwasher safe. However, they work well in soups and cheese sauces, so high temperatures don't seem like a big deal. But for crackers and cheese, apple slices, popcorn, pizza poppers, and the like, they're our favorites.
