For the price, this case is well made and fits UV-82HP and BF-888S. I'll try to find a 1/4 to 1/2 piece of rubber that will fit in the bottom of the case. This raises the radios and exposes most of the speaker. With the 888S, the speaker is completely enclosed. See photo. This bag is designed to be worn on a belt. It cannot be attached to a strap or belt. It must be threaded through the sewn loop on the body. Pushing the sides of the case outward deforms it, allowing the radios to slide in and out a little better. It looks like it will work fine without the elastic cord, the radio fits snugly. Adding an extended battery pack to the UV-82HP makes the radio larger in the case but still usable, and the speaker is fully exposed.
