Retired nurse with high arches and "thin soles". (Six miles a day x 20 years - that's right!) After reading the reviews I was concerned that this first pair of lined Crocs would be too small. I wear women's size 8 and ordered 8. They go perfectly with normal sports socks. Twice as light as Birkenstock Garden clogs, even lined. Not as much arch support as the Birka so I am considering adding adhesive supports under the liner. I can barely feel the bulges under the lining but if I had tried them on in a store they would have cost more. Thin soles hate bumps - what should feel like a massage is getting closer to torture with every step. Thank heaven for the thick fur lining. I just hope it will hold up to daily wear and regular washing during the colder months. SUPPLEMENT: I have decided to purchase a pair of Dr. Try full-length Scholl orthotics with a high arch under the lining. GREAT! It is interesting to note that I ordered the correct size I normally wear which can fit a couple of full inserts in Crocs and they are still not too tight.
