I have a high kitchen table and although the 24 inch stools with seat are good for sitting and eating, they are not comfortable enough for sitting and working. I have tried other back stools but they fit me. either too big or uncomfortable to sit for hours. This chair is perfect. You can adjust the seat and footrest to any height you want, low enough for my desk or really high. This chair offers good support and cushioning. Finally I can work at my high kitchen table! The wheels don't lock, so the chair slides a little when you sit on it, but after you sit it doesn't move until you move it to a different position. fast and easy. Only 11 parts, no tools required for assembly. BUT. They do not include written instructions, just a picture. To assemble the chair, follow STEP 2 and then STEP 1. To insert the Shaft (3) of the Footrest (5), the Shaft must first be in the Chair (9) so that you can push the Footrest into the Shaft with sufficient force .
