Technically, rabbits are better off having a real hooded litter box. They feel more secure and this allows you to set the tray up properly once you've taken the time to learn how it really should be. It's not about just sticking the pot in and you're done. The potty pads were a bit oversized which was a little disappointing as they literally fit. In case you're wondering, no pink scoop is included. And I want the tray to come out a little further. This is a bit tight depending on the size of your rabbit. But regardless of the size of your bunny, I think any bunny would benefit from a slightly larger litter box. Sometimes my rabbit doesn't make it into the crate. If we still deviate from a real rabbit litter box, the walls should also be a little higher so that the rabbit feels safer when doing its business. Animals generally understand that they are vulnerable when they go to the toilet, they need to feel safe doing it.
