
The articulated arm was a real asset when I had to lie down on the bed with an injury. This allowed me to continue working with the tablet and position it precisely so as not to strain my hands. The only caveat is that the base isn't heavy enough to keep the stand stable when using the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. I dropped some heavy books to keep it stable. I'm thinking of gluing a 20lb weight to the base so it doesn't move anywhere no matter which way you twist your arm :-)
